The Buffalo Bills have never won a Super Bowl, despite going to 4 straight Super Bowls from 1991-1994. In that era, the Marv Levy coached team starred Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas at QB and RB, a receiving corps led by Andre Reed, and a defense anchored by DE Bruce Smith. Their trademark was a "no-huddle" offense that proved to very effective. While the Redskins and the Cowboys handled the Bills in their first three Super Bowls, the 1991 Super Bowl was a heartbreaker. Down 20-19, the Bills had a decision: They could attempt a 47-yard field goal, or try one more offensive play. They elected to kick the field goal and Scott Norwood missed it. Many criticized Marv Levy for ths decision that he made. After the 1996 season, Jim Kelly retired. Marv Levy retired the following season.
