The Washington Redskins returned Hall of Fame coach Joe Gibbs to the franchise. In his first year back, he led them to a 6-10 record. This year, hopes are high. They return 9 of 11 starters to the #1 defense in the NFC last year. They drafted CB Carlos Rogers to replace Fred Smoot. Sean Taylor is ready to become the pro bowl safety everyone knows he is capable of becoming. Gibbs would like to prove that he is still the master playcaller he once was by increasing the scoring output of the offense. The passing game will be the most notable point of focus for the Redskins as they prepare to make a run at the playoffs, and quite possibly: the Super Bowl. |
